Hosted by Adirondack Cycling Advocates, the Harry Elkes Ride celebrates the scenic beauty of the North Country lakes and countryside, the friendliness of the groups, and the food and beverages after at The Hub in Brant Lake. Harry D. Elkes was America’s first Super Cycling champ in both short distance and long distance events at the end of the 19th century at the beginning of the 20th century.
Regardless of the number of days you choose to ride, you're guaranteed some awesome dirt, equally amazing views and a whole lot of fun. Saturday's ride is an afternoon social cruise followed by post ride drinks at the brewery.
This virtual run, ride, walk, hike - just get out and move - event raises money for Adirondack community food pantries. Register as an individual or a team of five and enter your miles moved to a live digital leader board. Prizes are awarded to the Top individuals and teams in the following categories: Bicycling, Running, Walking & Multisport. Since 2020, ADK Unite has generated over $35,000 for community food pantries.
Ride for the River is a celebration of the stunning Ausable River watershed and features some of the most incredible road cycling in the Adirondacks. Created by the Ausable Freshwater Center in 2012, the event was designed to support for the resilience of local communities following the devastating flooding caused by Tropical Storm Irene. Today, 100% of the ride proceeds directly fund the important work of the nonprofit organization as it works to protect the clean waters, natural hydrology, diverse ecology, and scenic beauty of the Ausable River Valley.
If you like a challenge, this is the course for you. This USATF certified course covers 11 miles over an 8 percent grade up Whiteface Mountain's scenic Veteran's Memorial Highway. Whiteface Mountain is New York's fifth highest peak with 360 degree panoramic views of the Adirondacks, New England, and Montreal.
The Black Fly Challenge is a classic Adirondack Mountain gravel grinder that takes place every year on the second Saturday in June. The race changes direction every year with the start and finish alternating between Indian Lake and Inlet, NY. Over half the 40 mile course traverses the rugged Moose River Recreation Area on mountain roads composed of dirt, gravel, sand and exposed boulders with several steep elevation changes.

The Wilmington MTB Festival is 3-day celebration with on-site camping, live music, local food & beer, bike demos, group rides for all abilities, shuttles, kids MTB race, and 25+ miles of beautiful Adirondack-style single track riding. JOIN US for a day or for the whole weekend!

For over a decade, Ride for the River has been a do-not-miss celebration of the stunning Ausable River watershed. Featuring multiple breathtaking route options, the event also hosts a 20-mile "tailgater" group ride on July 12 for those who'd like to come into town a day or two early to make it a weekend.
