Hosted at Paradox Brewery in North Hudson, the Handlebarley Gravel Weekend features two incredible fall days of gravel riding in the southern Adirondacks. Best part is you can sign up to ride just Saturday, only Sunday, or make it a full weekend.
Regardless of the number of days you choose to ride, you're guaranteed some awesome dirt, equally amazing views and a whole lot of fun. Saturday's ride is an afternoon social cruise to stunning Elk Lake Lodge followed by post ride drinks at the brewery. The main event is Sunday where we venture east of the brewery to Ironville for a stop Hunter Way Farm and the Penfield Homestead Museum before heading back to the brewery for a pizza and salad feast complete with live music by Russ Cook. In between, you'll experience some of the finest paved and gravel backroads anywhere in the region.

Dates: September 13-14

Benefits: Penfield Homestead Museum
Best of all, the event benefits the Penfield Homestead Museum in historic Ironville, known as the "Birthplace of Electrical Age." Rider Experiences
"This was the second year my husband and I participated in the Haldebarley. We loved the experience both years and are already looking forward to next year. The BikeADK community is amazing- good vibes, friendly, supportive and encouraging. Both bike routes were beautiful and challenging (but in a fun way!) and allow you to see parts of the Adirondacks you may not otherwise experience. We have loved meeting fellow bikers that have turned into friends through this experience. If you like to bike, witness beautiful landscapes and meet new people, this event is for you!"
"We’ve done several BikeADK events. They are always well run and a fun time. Beautiful scenery on the rides. They are challenging but we are in the ADK after all. Gather your friends and come on out. You can do it!"
"Once again, BikeADK has provided an amazing ride in the beautiful Adirondacks. The route was a perfect mix of pavement, empty backroads and gravel. The scenery was beautiful with fall colors beginning to pop. The best part…the people!! Friendly riders and an amazing group of support. The roadies and support crews out shined all the incredible views."
