The Village of Schroon Lake is the perfect base for a wide variety of road cycling options. Circle the lake of the same name and take it easy, or climb into the surrounding Adirondack hills and explore backroads where you will seldom see a car. After your ride is done, relax in one of the great restaurants in town, or get some takeout and head down to the beautiful town park and beach. Extend your trip with a hike into the backwoods, a visit to the Paradox craft brewery, or one of the other great attractions nearby. Plus it’s all right off I-87!
The routes offered here are some of our favorites, but this tour is all about customization. Once booked, our professional guides will get in touch with you to personally plan each day to suit your ability, interests and desired experience.
Here's how it works:
- Gather up your crew and pick a few dates. We specialize in guided 2- or 3-Day experiences, but can build exactly what you need whether it's a single day, full week or just a custom menu of rides for you to experience on your own.
- Give us a call at 518.524.4674 or drop an email to fun@bikeadk.com with your dates, an idea of where you'd like to ride and we then work with you to build the perfect itinerary.
- Need a bike? No problem. We work with our fabulous local bike shops and will have a bike ready for you to ride when you arrive.
Pricing
Tours range from $49 - $149/day per person depending on the total group size and desired services. We ensure we have at least one professional guide for every group of six guests.

This tour is all about customization to suit your desired experience. Our professional guides will link up with your trip planner in advance of the weekend and map out a daily plan based on the distances you'd like to ride and other "off-bike" activities you're interested in fitting in either before or after the ride.
