Rail Trail Shuttles
Wanna hop on the trail, but only have the time (or the legs) to experience it one way? We've got you.
BikeADK offers year-round shuttle service for you and your bike (or skis) to either Lake Placid, Saranac Lake, Floodwood Road or Tupper Lake. Bookings are by reservation at a recommended 72 hours in advance of your trip to help ensure we can get you scheduled. However, if we can accommodate same-day reservations, we'll certainly make it happen. Take a tour of our van.

What is included with the shuttle?
Shuttle includes:

When does the shuttle operate?
The shuttle operates year-round on advance booking only, which makes it ideal to fit your schedule.
What types of bikes can the shuttle take?
The shuttle can accommodate road bikes, mountain bikes, e-bikes and fat bikes.
Where are the pickup locations?
Our shuttle will pick you up at the location you intend to finish your ride and will shuttle you to the location you plan to start your ride. Pricing is based on pickup and drop off locations.
How much time does the shuttle take?
Minus loading and unloading time, the shuttle driving time will be approximately:
- 20 minutes between Saranac Lake and Lake Placid
- 30 minutes between Saranac Lake and Floodwood Road
- 50 minutes between Tupper Lake or Floodwood Road and Lake Placid
What are your shuttle vehicles?
For small groups of up to four, we utilize a Volkswagen Golf Alltrack. For larger groups, we shuttle in a 12-passenger Ford Transit 350. Both are clean and comfortably equipped with air conditioning, a bicycle pump, rail trail maps for you to take with you and other amenities.
What is the refund/cancelation policy?
- Refunds of any amount do not include credit card transaction fees.
- 100% if requested 48 hours or more in advance of the secured booking.
- 50% if requested between 24-48 hours of secured booking.
- Refunds are not available if requested less than 24 hours of secured booking.
- Rescheduling a previously booked shuttle is based on availability, but will not incur additional charges.
