Sydney Aveson

A former professional ice hockey player from Southern California, Sydney is an all-round athlete. She has canoed the 740-mile Northern Forest Canoe Trail, kayaked the 30-miles around Manhattan Island in NYC, and is currently section riding the 585-mile Adirondack Trail Ride. When Sydney isn't busy with her expeditionary pursuits, she is usually cooking something fun in her kitchen. As an ardent food lover, Sydney believes there is nothing better than a picnic with friends, especially after a ride, hike, or swim.

She lives in Lake Placid with her husband, Chris, who is happy to eat all of Sydney's delicious creations.
