Free Community Bike Jam Planned for Lake Placid
Kick off the Whoop UCI Mountain Bike World Series weekend on Friday, September 27 from 4:30-7:30p with a FREE Community Bike Jam hosted by Barkeater Trails Alliance in downtown Lake Placid.
This family friendly event will feature a BMX Stunt Show by Montreal based Krusher BMX and live music by Spring Street in postcard perfect Mid's Park. Best of all, secure bike parking will be provided so you can roll in with ease and valet park your whip thanks to CycleSafe.
Not only will there be high flying BMX action and good tunes, but attendees will also have a chance to learn about the local bicycling community and meet World Cup athletes all while spending an evening visiting the shops and restaurants in postcard perfect Lake Placid.

PARKING
Free parking will be available in the Lake Placid Central Schools parking lot behind the Olympic Center beginning at 4p. Attendees are encouraged to walk or ride your bike to downtown. Secure bike parking will be provided in the lot across from NBT Bank.
