Ride Spot: Gurney Lane

This month’s ride spot is the Gurney Lane Mountain Bike Park (GLMBP) in Queensbury, conveniently located right off exit 20 of the Northway just south of Lake George and designed by Steve Ovitt of Wilderness Property Management.

Gurney Lane has been ranked the #1 Mountain Bike Trail system in New York State by Singletracks.com and offers over 13 miles of trails with varying levels of challenge in its 152 acres of woodland. Plus, if you want to extend your season into winter, trails are groomed for fat bikes. There’s also a bike repair stand available on site with a full complement of hand tools and an air station to aid riders.
