BikeADK Events to Showcase Meadowdale Wines
Thanks to Meadowdale Winery, this season's slate of BikeADK events just got a whole lot more tasty.
Who doesn't love wine tasting? This summer, BikeADK is proud to feature this incredible family owned and operated New York State Winery at the June 27-29 Adirondack Women's Weekend, the July 13 Ride for the River Tailgater, the August 1-3 Weekender at Paul Smith's College, both the August 10-13 and September 7-10 Great Camp Sagamore Experiences and a to-be-announced fall Women's Weekend hosted in Schroon Lake.
As all good parterships start, this one began when Deb Sheehan approached us at the Handlebarley Gravel Weekend last fall and said, "I should connect you with my husband John. He owns a winery."
Our answer: "Yes, yes you should."
And KAPOW! We'll be savoring the award winning vintages of Meadowdale Winery following some great rides this season.
In addition to showcasing Meadowdale wines at happy hour celebrations included in our small group rides, like the Great Camp Sagamore Experiences, Meadowdale will be on-site for the Weekender at Paul Smith's College welcome dinner on Friday, August 1 where event participants will be able to taste and purchase their delicious wines.
The winery, which has a tasting room in Voorheesville, NY, was founded in 2016 and is an ultra-low-carbon, zero-waste winery. It is heated, cooled and powered by renewable, emissions-free solar and geothermal energy. Plus, all ingredients come from New York and all wine wastes are composted on the farm.
So, if you needed another reason to ride with BikeADK this season, thanks to Meadowdale Winery, now you have it.
