Rail Trail Clean Up Planned for April 27

Celebrate Trails Day by volunteering to do a little spring cleaning of the newly opened Adirondack Rail Trail.

The Adirondack Rail Trail Association (ARTA) and New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) are hosting a spring clean up of Phase 1 of the Adirondack Rail Trail on Saturday, April 27 beginning at 9a from the North Country Community College Sparks Athletic Complex. 

In order to ensure there are enough materials, please confirm your interest in volunteering by emailing Kathleen Martens at kathleen@adirondackrailtrail.org. 

The event, which will begin with a welcome and briefing inside the NCCC gymnasium, is a great way for those to learn about Adirondack Rail Trail stewardship and the ARTA Trail Ambassador Program. Please dress for the weather and feel free to bring your bike to enjoy the trail during and after the clean up.
